A recent trip into Icefall Lodge with writer Ryan Stuart to finish off my last winter assignment of the season. Wild terrain, a super fun group of peeps and of course great snow!

Mt Stanley - North Face - quite possibly my favorite line of the season.

I was getting ready to put the boards away for the season and winter came back with a vengence. After a bit of persuasion, I was back on the splitboard hunting for a few lines to bag before the end of the season truly occurred. As the old saying goes..if you can’t beat them, you might as well join them. Winter usually prevails at this time of year, so its best to embrace whatever mother nature throws at us - such a great time of year to be in the mountains.

Looks like we might finally get some spring weather here in the Bow Valley this weekend. A few pics to kick off this great time of year…

I’m off to Fernie for a commercial shoot for the next week…such a great town with some of the best skiing and mountain biking around these parts!
